Word remembers the last three locations of typing or amendments. By holding down the Shift key and pressing F5, you can return the insertion point to each of the three previous locations and then return to the original position. The last location of the insertion point is also stored when you save the document.

Selecting Text One word: Double-click anywhere on the word. With hyphenated words, only the word before the hyphen is highlighted. One sentence: Hold down the Ctrl key and click anywhere in the sentence. One paragraph: Double-click in the left-hand space next to the paragraph OR triple click anywhere in the paragraph. Multiple paragraphs: Double-click and drag in the space to the left of the text. One line of text: Click in the space immediately to the left of the line. Mult
