Confidentiality

Potential customers may have concerns that when employing freelancers to carry out their work "off site" full confidentiality will be maintained. As they cannot physically see how their project is managed, they must put their trust in the freelancer to treat the work with respect and discretion, and any sensitive information they are party to must be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Simple procedures can be put in place to keep information safe, such as password protection on computers and individual documents, regular file back ups and up to date virus protection. Any tapes, files or paperwork should be locked away at the end of the day. In addition, a confidentiality statement can be provided, if this is desired, to demonstrate that the freelance worker has considered and addressed the importance of confidentiality. At Choice Secretarial we have a Confidential Policy in place, and would be happy to provide this if required.

With clients in the fields of law, accountancy and insurance, confidentiality is a major factor in our day-to-day work; therefore we can guarantee discretion when it comes to dealing with your project. If you turn to our 'Clients' page, you will find a testimony to that effect.
